  • Point-of-Collection Hardware: A durable 5-liter UV-resistant chlorine tank mounted directly beside community water points (wells, boreholes, taps).
  • Volumetric Dosing Valve: Users turn a rotary valve that dispenses exactly 3 mL of dilute sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) into a standard 20-liter jerrican.
  • Residual Protection: Unlike filters, chlorine leaves a Free Residual Chlorine (FRC) of 0.2–0.5 mg/L that prevents re-contamination during transport, hand contact, and household storage for up to 48 hours.
